The price of a complete exterior paint job varies. Color is also a factor, sometimes a customer will request a complete color change which may include exterior and interior. (jambs, under hood & trunk etc) This is more costly then a factory color. The steps required are the same , body repair if any, sanding in preparation of the paint. A large part of a successful paint job is the preparation of the vehicle. By preparation, we are referring to: the repairing of any rust, bodywork, block sanding, using the correct products, keeping the surface clean, proper sanding, etc. We offer no warranty on rust repairs.
When painting over an existing finish, the underneath must be in good shape. Faded finishes are ok, however if it is peeling or lacquer checked the finish must be stripped to bare metal for purposes of adhesion.
