This photo is before the restoration process. This is in Las Vegas when we were picking it up to bring to Casa Grande.

This 72 Monte Carlo was purchased for me by my husband Dennis. His brother Mike Watkins found it in a yard in Washington. He knew the people that were selling it. He gave Dennis the opportunity to buy it and we did. However we were unable to bring it back with us to Casa Grande, so we left it until we could go back and pick it up.

Dennis's brother Roger and his wife Sue called us and said they could bring the car to Las Vegas if we wanted to meet them there and we could trailer it back home. We were able to do just that ,it took quite a while for the restoration to be completed.

The engine was completely redone by his brother Mike Watkins from Washington. The engine was bored 30 over and cammed with flat topped pistons , ported heads, 3 angle valve job, new Automatic transmission from AAA transmission. All numbers are matching. This car has approximately 29 miles since restoration began 3 years ago.The car has factory Air conditioning. The car was in pretty good shape when we got it. It had been sitting in the original owners yard for several years prior to us purchasing it, the owner would not sell it to anyone except Dennis's brother Mike. Mike made the transaction and kept the car at his house so he could begin rebuilding the engine.

Dennis did the painting on it, and our Technicians from the shop did the body repair and prepping for paint. The paint is Candy Wild Cherry and it has a Full gallon of Matrix Clear coat. The wheels are 14 inch 120 spoke Daytons which were purchased from 520 Customs in Casa Grande. The interior was done by Big John Amaro and his son John Jr.

The interior is completed...
