We were honored to be asked by Jesse Valle and the Casa Grande Fire Department to participate in the restoration of the 1966 Mustang which was to be presented to Mariah Lawton by her father, pictured above. It was painted by Dennis and prepped by our technicians here at the shop. Jesse Valle, pictured below, also took time to participate in prepping the Mustang as well as putting all the emblems, chrome, and other parts that were removed back on the car after paint. When we told our workers about the restoration they felt moved, as we did , by the love and sense of compassion the fire department displayed by having the Mustang restored for their co-worker Corey Lawton.
We were honored to be included in the presentation of the Mustang along with many members of the fire department, as well as their friends and family. You could really feel a sense of love and family from the firefighters, for Corey and his family. It takes very special people to do something like this for another person. It was truly a special day in our growing little town of Casa Grande. These fire fighters put there lives on the line everyday for our community and on this day they gave back to one of their own; they are an undeniable asset to our community. It was remarkable to be able to take part in something so meaningful.
In addition to the brave fire fighters of Casa Grande for their act of kindness, we would also like to thank Amaro Upholstery for donation of the dash cover as well as Gerry at G&H Automotive for his work on the electrical systems of the vehicle.
